Charissa is a sportscaster from America. She was born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst, hired in 2012 to co-host SportsNation. She hosted the ABC show Splash together with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is a native of Seattle Washington. As the youngest of her three siblings, Thompson knew that broadcasting was what she wanted from an early stage. She studied at Inglemoor High School near Kenmore Inglemoor, Washington. Thompson was admitted to California for community college to gain California residency. She transferred later to her home institution, the University of California Santa Barbara in 2004, where she earned the B.A. Law and Society, in 2004. While Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) to attend community college in California after which she transferred into UC Santa Barbara Thompson has stated that she didn't attend WSU. Thompson received an invitation from Sports Illustrated to do body painting in their Swimsuit issue before beginning her broadcasting career.
